The International Federation of Skill Councils (IFSA), attended by 10 countries from November 22 to 23, 1973, was declared in Moscow. Under the leadership of the International Skills Federation, the modern skills movement has entered a new period of development. The first World Championship of Skills was held in Moscow in 1974 and the World Cup in Widnau, Switzerland in 1975. At the IOC's 91st Congress in 1984, the Skill Games were listed as Olympic recognition programs.
